OVERVIEW

Delay simplified.

Quick Draw is an analog-voiced delay pedal the delivers crisp tone with warm repeats that dissolve naturally into your sound. With is broad range of delay time (from 20ms to 620ms), Quick Draw can delivery everything from a tight rockabilly slap back sound to lengthy, ethereal repeats that build into self-oscillation for otherworldly-sounding effects.
Quick Draw maintains an organic distinction between the original note and its echoes, meaning you can fill a room with ambient sounds without having your guitar become lost in the mix. A subtle analog warble in the repeats gives Quick Draw a hint of vintage tape-echo quality.
Featuring True Bypass switching, Quick Draw offers a versatile array of rich delay sounds in a pocket-sized pedal.

Outlaw Effects are a compact and sensible line of guitar and bass effects pedals. They are slim and low profile, and take up very little room on a pedal board. True bypass switching, a rugged chassis, low noise and affordability are the hallmarks of the Outlaw Effects line. Saddle up, partner, there's a new sheriff in tone.

Comments about Outlaw Effects Quick Draw Guitar Delay Pedal:

Was a little hesitant given it was made in China, but turned out great. Very light but feels sturdy. The delay pedal effect itself is pretty good. I did notice a slight volume decrease but I think there's an internal adjustment you can do.

I was looking for a reverb replacement and this worked out great.

Comments about Outlaw Effects Quick Draw Guitar Delay Pedal:

Most delay pedals are artificial, dead, and dry sounding. This pedal has great vintage delay vibe ala the EH Memory Man. I used a Line 6 DL4 for a long time, but I wanted something more compact. This pedal did it at a great price. I quickly dialed in the sound I wanted, and was creating warm and crunchy echoes for days that perfectly simulated the Line 6 DL4. I don't know how well it holds up yet, but like any tool, you will want to use it with care. Don't waste your money on an overpriced Boss delay to get a bunch of manufacttured overly sparkly delays.

Comments about Outlaw Effects Quick Draw Guitar Delay Pedal:

This is a simple delay pedal. I picked mine up to experiment with the idea of delay in my music, and it's great for that. You can create some spacey oscillation effects, and the standard delay effects you'd expect from a basic pedal.

It has the great compact design of all the Outlaw offerings, though you give up a bit with the diminutive size - the Echo and Repeat knobs are VERY hard to read, even in good light. In a live stage setting, it's impossible to see exactly where they're pointing. A tiny bit of white (or glow) paint would be an easy improvement, maybe in further versions they could provide this.

I notice some volume loss with the pedal, and a very noticeable POP if you activate it during silence. Also a tiny bit of noise when it's operating, which makes me think twice about using it for recording.

All this said, you're getting a perfectly serviceable pedal for half the price of the next one. If your wish is to jam at home and do some amateur recording, get this. As with anything, when you want to step up, be prepared to spend the extra money.

Comments about Outlaw Effects Quick Draw Guitar Delay Pedal:

I got this for nothing in a trade and expected to trade it or not use it but it's on my board right before my echoplex pedal. It sounds good! Has some warmth and you can get down to 20ms to do some double track effects.
I was surprised at how good it sounds.
BTW I'm pretty sure all electronics are made in China/Japan and Korea. Apple products are made in China so I don't think this is a valid argument.
