Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
This amplifier gives terrific full-range sound with a good bass response for a plugged-in acoustic 6-string. It sounds awesome for my folk-picking and arrpegiating style. It is a great bass amp for practice or small group songleading. The dual input feature allows for a bass and a 6-string at the same time. The power of 20 watts may not be enough for most gigs, but the price to value ratio is excellent.

Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
I have been using this amp for the last 6 months and absolutely love it. It is a great practice amp for the apartment. It is easy to setup some good clean sound with 3 band EQ, and the knobs are very smooth. I use AUX input for play-along practice and with the help of 2" tweeter it has full frequency range, so you can hear all details in the music. The power bottom is on the back, so I had to place the amp so I could easily access the bottom. If I need more power, I would look at bigger Warwick models. Definitely love the sound of this line.

Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
I'm a guitarist but after years of considering it, finally decided to start noodling on bass. This inexpensive amp gives stunning bottom and tonal range at home practice levels; articulate and free of speaker distortion or rattle even at surprising volume when cranked. Very efficient little box, and I think many of the better-known guitar amp builders could stand to learn a few things from Warwick's technology about getting big sound from a little cabinet. Extraordinarily free of background noise. On/off switch is in the deep backside of the cabinet, and not convenient, but Warwick explains that's to contain current bleed--one of several noise-control measures-- a tradeoff I will take any day. If it bothers you, just plug into a surge protector with a flip switch. This amp is dead silent when at rest so I tend to leave it switched on. After 3 weeks of steady use, there is not one thing about this amp I am dissatisfied with, other than the purely cosmetic issue of the fuzzy (but tough) fabric covering. I have the thing tucked under a table and don't spend a lot of time fondling it, so that's hardly worth mentioning. Other than that the aesthetics are decent and the control panel is accessible and simply laid out.

Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
I have never heard better sound from a practice amp at this price and wattage. For practicing, the amp is very convenient, even with the really poorly placed power switch. Having to reach behind the amp each time to turn it on or off is a "turn-off" to me. However, I really like the simplicity of the design, especially having the headphone and line in jacks. Only the essential tone shaping controls are provided. I like the horn. The compact size is great. Precise and thoughtful care seems to had been taken during the design process. I am glad I bought the amp. I will definitely look at bigger Warwick combos.

Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
As a folk player who picks often on a 6-string, the full range characteristic of this amp. really shines for me. It sounds great for bass, which it is made for. Do not expect too much power from this practice amp. since it is only 20W, but it is a great value. It gives a lot for its price. It is nice to have an amp. that can be used for bass and 6-string simultaneously for practice or small groups.

Comments about Warwick BC20 20W 1x8 Bass Combo w/2" Horn:
This Warwick BC20 is a great practice amp. It's well designed and portable. It's small light weight size makes it easy to position in a small room or apartment for optimal tone. You can check the details of the BC20 online/youtube. Andy Irvine demos the features of the Warwick BC20 as well as the sound. This amp has a great sounding preamp, which allows me to play without a DI. I can get great clear tone from super low to moderate volumes. The bass reflex cabinet design with tweeter allows the low frequencies to project while still retaining the higher frequencies. 3 knob tone control is easy to dial in a tone, and the passive/active inputs are great to have for various instruments. I keep the amp up off the ground with a stool for better tone as well as easy access to the power switch. Keep in mind, this is not a rehearsal amp for a full band situation with horns and drums. The BC20 has enough power for a bedroom, living room, apartment, or acoustic band situations. Because the amp doesn't distort it can use the entire 20 watts of power. In fact, due to a small room's acoustics this little amp provides better tone and sound vs a 300+watt amp in that same room. And the BC20 doesn't use a lot of electricity or heat up, which makes it the ideal amp for long practice sessions. If like me, you do most of your playing at lower to moderate volumes, this amp is a great choice.
