I bought mine back about 7 months ago

This bass is VERY versatile, and can stand up to some of the basses out on the market that are 2 or 3 times its price. You really can get any tone you want with it. It has two Bartolini Mk-1 pickups, which have a medium output level, its not SUPER sensitive, but you don't have to make your amp clip to hear it either. The finish and construction is also very good. Although every 2 or 3 months you should take a screwdriver, and tighten the two little screws on the outside of the locking input jack, because it gets a LITTLE loose, but nothing that if you didn't tend it would really matter. I'm just picky. If you want the most versatile bass for under $1000.00 than this is your ticket right here.

Great Bass

I have owned this bass for over a year now, and it is one of the nicest basses I have ever played. I have compared to Music Mans, Fenders, Gibsons and the only bass I can find that I liked better (tone wise) is a Rickenbacker 4003. This bass is very versatile. Perfect neck, and beautiful tone for anything from metal to funk or slap and pop.

Have grown into a wonderful relationship!

By qg.tjiCM_

Have owned my BTB for about a year now. Had a rocky start, but I think we have arrived. Have played Ibanez SounGears for over 10 years and was going to purchase another until I layed eyes on this beauty with the Bartolinis. Was impressed with the look of the bass and the sound of the Barts through the Ampeg I tried it out on even though the neck was a bit wider than my SounGears. Bought it and changed the strings to acheive the punchier sound I wanted. Played through a Gailen at church and fought to find the sound I wanted. Played through my Hartke stack w/ a 15 cab and a 410 cab and came closer when I played out, but still wasn't happy. Would have been extremely displeased if I would'nt have heard the possibilities in my Hartke. Finally all came together for me after experimenting with about 10 different brands of strings and finally finding my sound when I strung it w/ GHS Boomer lights. NOW WE GOT IT GOING ON! Plug that baby in and I'm inspired to new heights. Ibanez basses, Hartke amps,GHS Boomer strings and the power of the Holy Ghost and I'm ready to have church!

Great bass, amazing sound

By awesomo4000

This is a one of a kind bass. I have owned it for about a year without any problems. The features are increadible. It has a volume knob, 2 bass boosts, two tones, and a mid knob. The mid knob sounds like a wah pedal when you twist it. It can get just about any kind of souns you want. I highly suggest purchasing this bass. You will be very impressed.

I Dig everything about this guitar

By infosponge

from SF Bay Area

I just bought this exact bass guitar on Craigslist for $170.00 !!! It is in perfect condition. I think that qualifies for the deal of the month!! In my opinion, this bass is beautiful, it is just so good looking in every way. It sounds awesome too. Even though I really dont know much about playing the Bass (i just started)I have to say that I am super impressed with every aspect of this guitar. It is also very easy to adjust. Another thing that stands out to me is that it feels and looks like it is constructed using quality parts, there is nothing "cheep looking" about it. Did I mention how good looking this bass is !!

I got this bass about three months ago, and it is one of the best basses I ever used. The active pick ups are amazing and the independent bridges let you adjust your strings perfectly. It comes with Elixers and they are extremely goodBUT IT

Amazing bass.

The best playing bass for it's price on the market today. Plays very smooth, and the 18v active system allows for any possible sound you could ask for. You won't be let down.

This is a great bass.

By ralfmaster3000

from Hudson, NH

This bass is like no other bass that I've played in my whole career. It has six knobs, including volume, tone, bass boost, and a mid that sounds like a wah pedal if the bass boost is all the way up. The humbucker pickups give it a great sound quality, with a distinct tone. I highly recommend buying one.
