Quality you can hear and design you can feel from Luna.
Companions to Luna's Apollo Tattoo, Peace and Henna electric guitars, these Tattoo basses combine quality, style and affordability... aimed at cost conscious musicians of any age. The tattoo design is laser etched with an open pore finish, so the player can "feel" the design. The Tattoo takes its bold design from traditional Polynesian body ornamentation. Those designs were monochromatic, tattooed in black against brown skin with strongly geometric patterns and shapes and symbols inspired by the natural island world.
With the Tattoo you'll enjoy the stable feel and satisfying response of its comfortable action. You'll be enveloped in deep, fundamental bass tone, whether fat and unadorned (with the tone control at zero) or mixed with the perfect treble component (with the tone control at maximum, or anywhere in between).

Comments about Luna Guitars Tattoo Short Scale Electric Bass:
Ended up with a short scale by accident on my part. I am a female player and it actually works to my advantage. The neck is smooth and fast. Great tone from top to bottom. My only complaint is that the frets don't seem well seated and they do rub along the neck. I haven't played this instrument on stage yet, but plan to. Its a small guitar that is big on sound and fast on the attack. Made playing easy and the shorter scale is an advantage for smaller players.

Comments about Luna Guitars Tattoo Short Scale Electric Bass:
After setting my other short scale bass up with piccolo strings, I was looking for a short scale bass to take it's place at gigs, if I wanted to use one that night. Since I already had the Luna 34 inch scale bass, I decided to get this, so I would more or less have a matched set. Glad I did. this is an excellent guitar for the money, with fit and finish very, very, good at this economical price point. If you like it, but are worried if the looks match the quality, have no fear. It's a very nice bass guitar.
