The Ovation Elite TX 5-String Bass expands upon the company's incredibly fast 4-string and allows you to enter lower range sonic territories with precision and ease. Soundports on the bass-string side of the instrument enhance lower-frequency projection, and features a satin-finished maple neck with a black-stained rosewood fretboard. Assuring correct string tension and intonation, a full 34” scale and 24 frets delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument’s entire range. With its onboard compressor, the OPPro Studio preamp provides control over the attack and sustain of every note. There is no doubt that this guitar is the ideal weapon of choice to add more low end to any rhythm section.
