Celtic Frost's final album and first in over 13 years, the avant-garde 2006 effort Monotheist, was co-produced with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Dimmu Borgir, Immortal) and is an extremely dark, inventive, and radically heavy release that features monolithic, droning doom anthems that rival the primitive massiveness of Hellhammer as well as the gloomy experimental side witnessed on Into The Pandemonium (1987).
