The song had been a single (and northern soul classic) by Pat Lewis, whilst the Supremes had recorded it for Motown. It's fascinating to hear George and the boys' treatment released on 45 for the first time. It is backed by one of the great breakbeats - Funkadelic's actual second single 'I'll Bet You'.
