Overview
Release Date:05/13/2016;Notes:Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2016 release. Peter Wolf is best known as lead vocalist for the J. Geils Band from '67-'83. A solo artist since '89, Peter made a real mark with 2002's Sleepless. He has fashioned a unique musical niche for himself, maybe best described as urban americana, mixing R&B, Bakersfield country and soul with unique narratives. For this, he wrote nine of the 12 tracks, four of them with Grammy/Golden Globe/Academy Award-winning songwriter Will Jennings. Also has covers of songs penned by Lefty Frizell, Moe Bandy and Thomas Wayne. In a musical career spanning half a century, Peter Wolf earned a reputation as one of Rock 'n' Roll's most compelling performers, while still making distinctive, personally charged music showing his mastery of a bottomless well of American musical styles.;Track List:1. Rolling on;2. It Was Alsway So Easy (To Find An Unhappy Woman);3. Peace of Mind;4. Love Stinks;5. Mr. Mistake;6. Tragedy;7. Stranger;8. Wastin' Time;9. Some Other Time Some Other Place;10.
