Comments about Carl Fischer Yamaha Etude and Exercise Book for Trumpet (The Secrets of Eight Master Artists and Teachers):
I've purchased "The secrets of eight master artists and teachers" recently simply because I was interested to see what do these great trumpet artists have offered to the rest of the world and I was hoping that this book can help us trumpet students and lovers. No doubts that these are some of the best players in the world but I'm very disappoint with the publication because there are too many errors. For example: Page 13, 15, 16 and 20 etc... those errors are not major issue to me because I can understand the intention and ideas behind majority of those exercises but it will create confusion and frustration to younger students. The shipping cost is expensive, almost equivalent to the cost of the book. Sorry, this might sounded hush but I would ask for a refund because of the poor standard of publication (Not because of those great artists)!
