Learn to write music on guitar.

What is harmony? Harmony combines notes to produce music. In short, Harmony is Music! This is not a tutorial on singing or writing lyrics. Rather, this video is going to show you how to write music as a guitarist. Starting with the most basic rhythms, you will learn to build melodies and harmonies... which will give you the notes you would use to sing over your songs, or play along as another guitar or instrument section. As you progress, you will learn melodic rhythm and lead passages that you can add to any song. In later chapters, you'll learn multiple guitar parts, including dual lead guitar harmony sections, (FEATURING Picture-In-Picture (PIP), multi-guitar video).

Four hours of instruction. TOPICS INCLUDE: chord harmony - voicing - oblique, contrary & parallel motion - blending and contrast - chord-scale vs. chord-tones - interval harmony - single guitar breakdowns - metal, rock and country styles - double note harmonies - guitar solos - acoustic rhythms - walking bass lines - full song orchestration - bonus material
