The Meinl Weston 551S Pro Compensating Euphonium is an excellent choice for the advanced player. The 551S features a very big, warm sound with 4 Stainless steel piston valves (3 top and 1 side) with a large shank mouthpiece receiver. The Meinl Weston 551S is silver plated with gold plated top and bottom valve caps to makes it look as good as it sounds.
Meinl Weston offers this improved professional model that is another step up from their popular model 451. The redesigned bell provides for all around optimal intonation, especially on the 3rd and 6th partials.
Also includes valve oil, tuning slide grease, and water catchers for all valves.
