Comments about Yamaha Slide Grease:
This was my first experience with Yamaha slide grease, and the product itself is excellent - high enough viscousity to hold tuned slides in position.
But the "Chap Stick" packing is weak, and the plastic screw mechanism that pushes the grease up for application stripped out immediately. I used a tiny spatula to dig out the grease.
I'm hopeful that this was an outlier, and I ordered five more to have on hand because the grease itself is a great product.
