I bought this for my small homeschool band. My one percussion player is excited to play it & not have to use the "tambourine with a handle". Can't blame him. This will be a great addition to our percussion section. I decided to get the one with the synthetic head as I was advised by a professional percussionist/teacher that this would not sag in humidity & also would not have to worry about rain. When I showed it to him, he really liked it...played some tambourine solos. Lol!
I also only checked the Best Uses for what I will use it for.
