Comments about LP Museum Series Udu Drum:
I basically bought this Udu drum on a whim when I got a little more interested in Udu and Claypot drumming, but I'm glad I bought it. The tones all come out sounding great, it looks good, and it's even bigger than what I expected! Bass tones, slaps, finger tones and other sounds all come out sounding wonderful for a drum that's so reasonably priced. If you're interested in this style of drumming, I highly recommend it. I've had it for several days now and can't put it down :)
Comments about LP Museum Series Udu Drum:
At first I thought this was a bizarre instrument used only for very percussiony percussion songs. Now that I have played it in a studio, I know how versitile they really are. I am a drummer for a localy renowned jazz trio that plays at nearly every formal local event, and I have found that using this brings a suprisingly high amount of attention from the audience. "what is that?" "that's really cool sounding!"...It is incredible that the sound that comes from this little thing add so much to the latin end of our music. The low end tones are as rich and natural as they come, and the slappy-poppy sounds are extreemly mellow, yet they cut very well. A must have for any percussionist-drummer looking for a great auxillary sound.

Comments about LP Museum Series Udu Drum:
Having a great time discovering all of the sounds this instrument is capable of.... Our priest from Africa picked it up and did a great job of complex rhythms right away.
