Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Unity 5-Piece Drum Set with Hardware, Cymbals and Throne:
Arrived in perfect condition and everything was well packaged and protected. This is a beautiful drum set. The Wine Red is very deep in color and contrasts nicely with the black hardware. Putting the drums together and set up took a little over an hour and the initial tuning was very easy. Look at some videos on YouTube if you are unfamiliar with drum set up. The sound is pretty good and will only require a little modification to control some of the 'boing'. Are there better drum sets, you betcha, but for the money this is not a toy and is a terrific starter set.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Unity 5-Piece Drum Set with Hardware, Cymbals and Throne:
I ordered this set to add along with a DDrums set that is wearing out. The set up was easy. The sound is good. The only change I can see is Evens drum heads.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Unity 5-Piece Drum Set with Hardware, Cymbals and Throne:
It's ok for the price, but has plastic shells, and really bad bass petal and hi hat petal, if for some reason you really want this kit, you should upgrade one of those. But over all even if you have never played, or are just starting I would recommend saving up a couple hundred more, and getting something with actual shells, However unlike most kits it does include hardware and cymbals, even if they are limited.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Unity 5-Piece Drum Set with Hardware, Cymbals and Throne:
Really nice beginner's set. Cymbals are terrible and flimsy. Once came dented. The shells are solid and hardware is pretty nice. Managed to get a decent sound without a lot of fuss. Got this set for cheap on the Stupid Deal, so spending a bit more for cymbals isn't an issue. Great beginning kit. I play guitar mostly but occasionally dabble with drums to make demos.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Unity 5-Piece Drum Set with Hardware, Cymbals and Throne:
i wanted a drum set. Seen these and really there not bad. The cymbals are trash, the snare has no resonate pad so it tends to sound hollow. I put a ring on it and it helped, I ended up using an old one that has that adjustment to kill the doooooooonnnngggggg. sounds.
Yes I would buy the kit. I wish they offered it without the cymbals as these are dodo I replaced them right away with Sabiens which I don't really like either. But there better then stock.

Bought this for my son as his first set. Was very surprised on the quality of this set. His drum teacher set it up and said the same thing. Very happy with it. Good price too.
