Comments about Hohner 55/80 Echo Harmonica:
This is a wonderfully sweet-sounding harmonica. It has two keys, just flip it over and voila! I don't like the fact that the covers are nailed together on the ends. I hope that I never have to take it apart for any reason. The main deal-breaker for me is its shape; it doesn't stay in a harmonica rack. I play mostly solo, vocals and guitar, with harmonica on some songs. This harp needs to be held with two hands. But it has beautiful tone, and lends itself to accompaniment for folk music. If you love harmonica, and have been wanting to try something different than a 10-hole diatonic, this just might be for you! Audiences seem to love it, and you will, too.

Comments about Hohner 55/80 Echo Harmonica:
Well... lately I've been playing all of my uncle's old harmonica's, when I saw this one. I took it out, and I was blown away. Then here comes my uncle, takes it, and starts playing a bunch of sweet songs switching sides. Then he told me to play them, I couldn't. So if you want an AMZING harmonica, get this... NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments about Hohner 55/80 Echo Harmonica:
Hello I own several harmonicas including csx Chromatic, echo-celeste and many diatonic. and there is no better rich, warm sound than this Echo harmonica by Hohner. This beautiful instrument sounds like a french accordion!. For me is like an instrument that will take you to a time travel to central Europe every time you play it. I'm Planing to buy a second Echo Harmonica but this time a 57/120 C/G. Please buy this item I promise you won't regret it. I strongly recommend this harmonica!!

Comments about Hohner 55/80 Echo Harmonica:
This harmonica is comparable to the one I bought in 1976 (just a bit more expensive). It's actually larger than my old Hohner, and has two complete octaves on each side. The sound is really sweet!

Comments about Hohner 55/80 Echo Harmonica:
This is the finest sounding harmonica available anywhere. I have had one since 1955. Audiences love the sound of this harmonica. The problem is the construction. It is held together by two tiny nails on each end, which tend to work their way loose and get lost, causing the harp to come apart. Service is impossible. I have gone through five in the past three years of playing every day. Perhaps someday Hohner will come up with a more serviceable and sturdy model.
