Spanish import with open pore finish for extra sustain, solid top so its tone ages with you.
The Alhambra 1O P-Cadete is a 3/4 sized version of the larger 1O P, and right out of the box it will surprise you with its beautiful woods and light weight. This guitar features an open pore finish which means very little finish is applied allowing the guitar to vibrate freely without restriction. The result is a more lively guitar that is balanced across the frequancy spectrum.
The 1O P-Cadete features a solid cedar top and like a good wine, solid tops age and become better over time. This means the incredible sound you get out of it will get even better as the years pass.

Comments about Alhambra 1O P-Cadete 3/4 sized Classical Acoustic Guitar:
Purchased an Open Box 10 P-Cadete hoping for a very playable short scale nylon string string that would sound good w/ the solid Cedar top. The guitar did sound good for it's 3/4 size and certainly much better that an all laminate instrument (strong mids and highs but bass was a bit weak). The guitar was very light but projected well for it's size. My main issue was with the string spacing at both the nut and bridge. I was immediately struck by how narrow the string spacing was relative to neck width. The makers left a large amount of space on the neck outside both sides of the "e" strings. This made the play-ability of the neck too cramped for me, but may be OK for children. But why make a wider neck only to squeeze the string spacing on it? I suppose one could increased the string spacing a bit with a wider spaced nut, but that leaves the saddle spacing to contend with and not sure if just increasing the nut spacing would help at the bridge spacing all that much. No truss rod for neck adjustments. I don't recall if I checked the intonation at the 12th fret. The string height at the 12th fret was 9/64" on the instrument I received and would require sanding down the saddle quite a bit. Finally for me a 22" to 23" scale length would have been ideal.
