Comments about ESP LTD V-407B Baritone 7-String Electric Guitar:

I didn't think LTD would put out any good seven string models, until I bought this one. I was a little worried at first, because I've never played a baritone guitar before, so I thought the strings would be under too much pressure.. But when I got it, it was in perfect E Standard tuning! I was shocked! It can hold standard, even though it has a longer scale length. The EMG's really make this guitar scream, even though it may weigh seven pounds.. It has an AMAZING clean tone, hands down, it's the best for cleans!! When you play metal, boy this thing screams! No muddiness, no bad tone, nothing but an amazing tone you won't hear anywhere else!! This is by far the best guitar I've ever owned, played, or bought, and I've bought at least fifteen guitars in my entire life!! I really would recommend this to anyone I know that plays a seven string!!!!

Comments about ESP LTD V-407B Baritone 7-String Electric Guitar:

I just recently ordered this guitar from Musician's Friend. It was on backorder so I had to wait a few weeks. I ended up with the newer version which has dot inlays and a pickguard, which is similar to the V-307. It is very comfortable to play, standing up or sitting down. I thought it was gonna feel like playing a bass because of the baritone scale, but it felt like a 6-string. It sounded great out of the box, but it sounds crushing with a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt 7-string Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings on it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get that low-tuned sound but more tension on the strings. I can't wait to get another band started and use this for shows, writing, recording, everything. Great guitar!
