A period-correct Tele with mahogany body and f-holes.

Fender' American Vintage ™69 Telecaster Thinline guitar authentically captures one of the most experimental evolutionary steps in the long and colorful history of the Telecaster. In 1969, the hollowed-out and lightweight Thinline was the first of three major Telecaster design revisions of the late-™60s/early-™70s era, and players prized it for its own distinctive tone.

The American Vintage ™69 Telecaster Thinline features period correct late-™60s details such as a œtop hat pickup switch tip and vintage-style œF tuners. Other features include a semi-hollow mahogany body with f hole and gloss lacquer finish; C-shape maple neck with gloss lacquer finish, standard four-bolt neck plate; maple fingerboard with 7.25 radius and 21 vintage-style frets; American Vintage Telecaster single-coil neck and bridge pickups with three-position switching; four-ply white pearloid pickguard; vintage-style three-saddle strings-through-body Telecaster bridge; knurled chrome knobs and chrome hardware. Accessories include black Tolex case, polish cloth, 8™ cable, strap, bridge cover and six-saddle replacement bridge. Available in Olympic White and Two-color Sunburst.

Comments about Fender American Vintage '69 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

I am surprised to fine that is no dislikes by me for this guitar. I have been playing guitar since the 60's and have played Gibsons, Fender Stratocasters, Gretsch, and PRS. And I am not lying this guitar is the best I have ever owned. I was surprised on how right out of the box this guitar was well made I have this one in sunburst which really dose right by the guitar also the action and shape of the neck makes this instument a joy to play and the weight is so light I now not have to worry about pain in my shoulders after hours of playing. The pickups are amazing giving me a beautiful sound for a soft blues to a driving lead. Everyone from my instuctor and friends that I jam with and other musicians are very impressed with this tele. Take it from a old player that if you are looking for one main guitar for life the Fender Tele Vintage 69 Thinline is the guitar for you. You will be like me one very happy guitar player.
I gave the Tele Vintage 69 a 100 rating due to this is the best guitar I have ever owned.
The workmanship is extremely well done. A very light weight body for when you have to play for long hours. The action is extremely set just right not a thing has to be done for adjustment. Tone and sound quality of the pickups is extemely well balanced to play any style music.
Sure this instument to some is a very high price to pay but to me very well worth to pay. I have played several guitars that have cost more then the tele that dose not compare to the quality the tele has.
