Comments about Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition NAMM Custom Built '50s Journeyman Relic Rosewood Neck Stratocaster:

I am not a really experienced guitar player but I couldn't resist as an offer as was.I requested (Silver) Bullets and they were installed "very nice" as I requested, by Private Reserve at Musicians Friend. The guitar absolutly Rocks the Stratocaster Way. The solid Rosewood neck lets the guitar ring and with a "slightly" softer timbre than Maple. The notes pop out nicely and the soft V-shape feels comfortable. The electronics are solid Stratocaster tone-ability and have a nice combination of fatty and smooth sounding 50's neck pickup, the middle reverse wound middle pick is nice and greasey and as ts the firey Texas bridge pickup. They all sound nicely when driven as pushed through the amp by a OCD by Fulltone. And when a EH Cockfight is hooked up woha oh yea, tell me please mista wcha gonna do. The clean tones are wonderfully warm stratocaster cool classic. If one has the bread and the inclination go for it, play it as you please, just about any time!
