Overview
A fun, 4-stringed instrument that can play many styles of music.
The CSA-2 Cavaquinho is the work of many years of development stemming from its Brazilian roots. Anyone for the samba? This instrument can be used either as a rhythm guitar or as a lead instrument. A small, four-stringed guitar resembling a ukulele, mostly popular in both Brazil and Portugal, is now available for a very affordable price.
The cavaquinho can be tuned in numerous ways. The most common tunings are D-G-B-D and D-G-B-E (from lower to higher pitches). So, experiment and have some fun learning a new instrument or enjoy playing the style of music you enjoy, but maybe never could afford to have, or create your own sound and style. Case sold separately.
