OVERVIEW

A versatile performer with excellent playability and reliable L.R. Baggs electronics.

Every inch a Gibson, the 2018 J-15 is handcrafted from solid North American tonewoods, pairing a Sitka spruce top with walnut back and sides, complemented by a maple neck. Built by Gibson's master-craftsmen using the same methods as all Gibson acoustic models, the J-15 has a hand-fitted dovetail neck-to-body joint secured with hide glue to ensure resonance from strings to body. Gibson's standard X-braced adds more pop to your performance, while the onboard L.R Baggs Element will allow you to play anywhere from a coffeehouse to an area show. The hand-sprayed nitrocellulose finish allows you to enjoy the unique character and grain of the Sitka spruce top.

Includes black hardshell case.

Comments about Gibson 2018 J-15 Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is so beautiful and unique, and the sound is incredible. The only thing is that Gibson tried to re-invent the wheel and use a weird material for the pick guard. the pick guard has peeled off within a year of owning this guitar and has been to the repair shop for warranty work twice now, and it is peeling for the third time. I am very upset with this problem and would not recommend this guitar unless you like sending it in for repairs often.

Comments about Gibson 2018 J-15 Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Great neck, right size. Well set up. Walnut makes a difference to sound. This is my 8th Gibson, been disappointed in them but still got 3 & love this one.
