Built with Gibson Custom's "Tonally Carved" construction, with the sides back carefully crafted from a single piece of lightweight mahogany for controlled resonance, this CS-356 is a sophisticated take on the semi-hollow body electric guitar. Slightly smaller in size than a traditional ES-335, it's an extraordinary instrument, well-balanced and warm sounding, but loaded with luxury appointments. These include a single-piece ebony fingerboard and mahogany neck, Gibson Custom 57 Classic humbuckers, gold hardware and a beautifully figured maple top. The VOS (Vintage Old Stock) finish is aged, but not worn, with the appearance of a guitar that's been hanging, forgotten, on a dealer's wall since the 1950s. It's an amazing guitar, both sonically and visually, with the playability you expect from Gibson's famed custom shop. Includes a custom hardshell case.
