Comments about Gibson Limited Run Les Paul Deluxe Electric Guitar:
Moving past the fact that I've wanted a Les Paul Deluxe for years and there is a reason. I have a Custom and Special already and love them both, but was distracted by other guitar purchases for awhile, until I realized the sound I was missing was from my coveted Deluxe. The Deluxe is a top quality Les Paul that feels like a Standard, not a Studio, a Standard, but has a totally different sound. This is a straight up rock and roll beast. I play mine through a Vox and an Orange, with some overdrive (Delta Lab TD1) and amp reverb and it just sounds great. I can't put into words how happy I am with my Deluxe. If you are looking at this as your first Les Paul, you may want to look at a Standard, but if this is to round out your Paul collection, don't walk, run and buy one.

Comments about Gibson Limited Run Les Paul Deluxe Electric Guitar:
The Les Paul Deluxe gold top has a feel that you get when you put on a tuxedo. You just know it looks good and everyone is looking at you. The finish, the neck, the workmanship, and the sound all tell you that you were right to get this guitar. The pickups have a bite that reminds you of a P90 but without the noise. The guitar has a full size body so all the sustain of a standard or custom is there. The neck also feels like a standard with the frets capped on the ends with neck binding. I agree with the other review that this is not your first Les Paul but if you can add a Deluxe to your collection its money in the bank.
