Tom Petty SJ-200 Wildflower Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Both as a solo artist and with his band, the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty has created some of the most beloved and enduring music of the rock era. The original SJ-200 Wildflower was a one-off built for Tom during the Wildflowers era in the 1990s. Inspired by that original model, the Tom Petty SJ-200 Wildflower from Gibson features all of the classic SJ-200 ornamentation, including a Sitka spruce top, highly figured quilted maple body and flamed maple neck. An L.R. Baggs VTC undersaddle pickup with volume and tone controls make the Wildflower stage-ready right out of its included custom case. Additional features include the Wildflower logo on the headstock, “You Belong Among the Wildflowers” lyric decal on the back of the headstock and Tom Petty’s signature engraved on the double pickguard. The SJ-200 Wildflower is limited to only 100 pieces.

It also comes with the 7 LP Deluxe Edition of Wildflowers, Petty's 1994 masterpiece. You'll hear 54 tracks of solo demos, live recordings and All The Rest, an album featuring other songs from the original sessions. The Deluxe Edition includes a 60-page book with an introduction by original producer Rick Rubin, an essay by David Fricke, a complete track-by-track, plus rare photos and specially commissioned illustrations.
