A rockin' guitar with great looks and advanced electronics.

The Godin Summit CT has an eye-catching highly figured solid maple carved top (CT) and an extremely resonant solid mahogany string-through body. The worn-in feel of the Ergocut shaped ebony fingerboard makes the ultra comfortable mahogany neck incredibly easy to of play. This 24-3/4" scale behemoth is powered by two Seymour Duncan humbuckers. An Alnico 2 in the neck position and a '59 in the bridge, controlled via a 5-way switch, provide huge amounts of tone for many styles of players, most notably the classic, hard-rockin' variety.

H.D.R. High-Definition Revoicer
The H.D.R. revoices and augments the frequency range of each pickup and allows the player to go from passive to active pickups
with the simple push of a button. The H.D.R. gives guitarists the best of both worlds and provides extra bite and dynamic response.

The H.D.R. provides extra bite, dynamic response and redefines the character of each pickup. It's like having 2 sets of pickups in 1 guitar for 5 pure passive tones + 5 pure active tones.

Ask me a question

Comments about Godin Summit CT Electric Guitar:

This was a great buy. I was on the fence about this purchase due to the fact that I've never seen or played one in person but," I took the plunge and ordered it thru Musicians Friend and don't regret that decision one bit. It's worth repeating again; I can not say enough about the build quality of these instruments. I intend to purchase other Godin products.
This guitar is capable of several different tones and can be ""dialed-in"" to suit any style of music. I had to spend some quality time with it to test out the various pickup configurations to get the ideal sound for my style of playing however", it's also opened up other possibilities in terms of style of play because of it's versatility.
I can't say enough about the build quality of this instrument. The wood selections are top notch," the Seymour Duncan pickup and the Tusq nut are all pluses; the attention to detail rivals any guitar made by any ""high-end"" manufacturer.
Excellent value for the quality. I've paid much more for instruments from other manufacturers and this rivals them all.

There's a new tone on the market

By Apache Boneknife

Comments about Godin Summit CT Electric Guitar:

This guitar has one of the most unique sounds around. Don't let the single cut look fool you. It has the agressiveness of an LP, but with more definition. The lows are tight, the mids saturate, and the highs have the articulation of a senior at Harvard. Rock sounds are amazing. The blues go from Texas to Chicago. Jazz drips out of the neck humbucker and Tele twang can be had at the bridge single coil. And yes, you will love the metal tones. This guitar plays effortlessly and has the smoothest neck I've ever encountered. Construction is solid and the weight is perfectly balanced.

Best Electric Guitar I have ever owned

Comments about Godin Summit CT Electric Guitar:

I have owned excellent guitars in the past: PRS, Gibson LP, Rick 12 string, etc.....Had to sell off most of my collection in the 90's. For a few years, I have been rebuilding, but focusing on value, not brand name. The CT Summit is a steal at about a thousand bucks. The best guitar I have ever owned. There is almost no tone that I cannot get. Craftsmanship is outstanding. The neck is perfect for me. It is narrow enough yet, has some width for easy lead playing. Stays in tune. Easily worth 2 thousand dollars. Try one out.

    Great for anybody.

Comments about Godin Summit CT Electric Guitar:

I am a experienced player, having tried top of the line instruments. I must say that this guitar is able to stand on it's own. The H.D.R. is quite a useful tool to have, if the battery runs out you can still rock and roll all night. It is a very versatile instrument and can play just about anything. Since you can split the coils you can even play some good country. If you are serius get it.
