Gorgeous body contours are matched with powerful sound and amazing playability.

The first thing you notice about the Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar is its stunning arched top and contoured body that add drama to the quilted maple top's beautiful figuring. Plug it in and start playing to discover its other delights.
The 25.5"-scale, 3-piece set maple neck has the fast Wizard II profile, a rosewood fingerboard, and transmits amazing resonance to the all-mahogany body. Ibanez LZ3 humbuckers with active EQ and 3-way switching offer a vast tonal range with rich harmonics and crystalline articulation. A Gibraltar fixed bridge (transparent gray finish) offers maximum string vibration for greater tone and low profile playing comfort. Cosmo black hardware and fingerboard inlays complement the beautiful finishes perfectly.

Comments about Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar:

First, I am "that guy", the prestige snob. Having said this, i traded a prestige 1520, for this guitar strait up. This is an "indo ibi". however, this guitar ROCKS! the quality is on par,(if not exceeds)the korean rgt's. Beautiful finish and fit, sounds mean but it's either soft or snarl,(which is good). Arched top is comfortable/playable, fixed bridge is great. i dropped the standard 9's down to drop C, and it stayes in tune! of coarse heavier gauges are needed to eliminate fret buzz, but, it holds tunings VERY well.

Comments about Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar:

To be honest, this is my new favorite guitar for a number of reasons, at least as far as my tase goes. The neck is incredibly smooth, feal somewhat like an expensive paul reed smith -a great neck for intricate playing, and the wave-like inlays are a beautiful compliment to the equally nice design on the body. The one I have actually has a slightly different body design than this, but they both look great. Also this one stays in tune increadibly well for not having a floyd rose, which is great as im not a huge fan of floyd roses, nothing against them, I just quit using them as I just bend to the same effect, and there just too much of a hastle for me to deal with sometimes. Back to the point, The active pickups are a nice addition, you notice the difference as soon as you play it through your rig. Definatly worth the price to Me.

Comments about Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar:

I LOVE the way this guitar looks. IT IS VERY PRETTY!!! I really want to use this guitar and love this guitar but it is not friendly when it comes to playing. ONe I did not like the pickup, so i put in a set of X2Ns but the way they sent it from the factory, the setup was terrible!!!! Iagree with others on here about the setup very low and fights you when you play it. I have tried other Ibanez' even cheeper ones and they play better. I tried to set it up and took it to a great guitar tech at the guitar store and he was not able to to much better. Like i said I want to love this guitar but hate the way it plays. But you could pay 600 bucks for a cool wall piece or by an ltd HM.

With some adjustment will became a goos guitar!

Comments about Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about a month ago, my first impression was really disappointed, maybe I was expecting something different maybe a little bit heavier since I like to feel some weight on my guitars and this light mahogany body is real light. Then when I realized that the active pickups are operated by two AA batteries I said to myself ?what a waste of money?. Now, I have been playing this baby for over a month and now it feels much better. I adjusted the bridge since the action was ridiculous high then I replaced the batteries for a better quality, put some lemon oil on the neck and polished the frets (specially on the edges) and finally I can say ?this guitar worth the money!!!!? it won?t be my main guitar but it is really close to my Prestige RGA121 and for practice is real good deal, the sound is decent but the pickups laks some punch, the neck is fast and the set neck construction is great the heel shape is good same thing about the bridge it is solid and stays in tune (I love fixed bridges).I can tell you if you are a guy who likes the prestige line it will take a while for you to find the magic on this guitar but don?t let yourself make a wrong judgment about it just give yourself some time to play it and you will find on this guitar a very good playable instrument.

Almost 5 a star guitar

Comments about Ibanez RGA72QM Electric Guitar:

Ive had this for a couple weeks. First impression was wow this is really pretty. Played it a bit and not quite loving it. The other reviewer is dead on. Not sure why the setup on this guitar is so off. I own more than one Ibanez and factory setup is always ok. Now it sounds and plays as sweet as it looks. Action was set too low. Inntonation was way off. The reason I don't give it 5 overall is the saddle setup. When adjusting inntonation, the saddles do not move freely at all. They hang up and have to be pushed on the head of adjustment screw. If they are not tight against bridge, they make a narly buzz. It is setup now and I'm loving it. If you're thinking about this one, IMHO it's a great choice.
