Comments about Line 6 Variax Shuriken Electric Guitar:

This addition puts me one shy of 20 stringed instruments in my collection. I've been playing this for a few hours now and can't seem to put it down. With all of the extra controls, it does take a little bit of digging through the software to build presets. Luckily, the Helix presets are usable out of the box. From there, I had to figure out how the Shuriken presets worked and completely switched out User IV with a custom set up for now. I'm sold on the technology. This paired with the Helix may completely replace my Axe FX 2 set up.

I'm still getting used to the 27" neck, but I love everything about it. Mine could use a better set up as the intonation is a bit off, but I expect that with every guitar. I'd be sure to pair it with a good powered monitor to get the most of your set up. I had a cheap pair entry level monitors that were pretty bad with the Helix. I picked up an Alto TS310 with the Shuriken and Helix. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Best Guitar For Versatility

Comments about Line 6 Variax Shuriken Electric Guitar:

I've been using the "dream rig" for years now (Helix, Variax and DT amp). I used to have the JTV 89F but got tired of the floyd rose. So i bought the Shuriken... Wow! This guitar has everything I could ever ask for. It feels amazing in the hands. It looks like an absolute powerhouse. And the modeling sounds are much more impressive than you would think. I did remove the stock pickup and replace it with a SD Invader. To be honest, its not completely necessary because the stock pickup is very good. Anyway, if you want one guitar that can go from drop C in high gain to E standard acoustic at the flick of a switch, then dont hesitate. You will not regret this purchase. Hope this helps!
