Comments about Epiphone Slash "AFD" Les Paul Performance Pack:

My wife bought this for me for Xmas. Now I'm am what u consider a guitar snob I've been playing for 20+ years and have owned high end guitars and I am really impressed with this guitar with the price range it is in the pickups sound great it plays great the only thing I would do is mabe upgrade the tuners but even they ain't that bad. I would recommend this guitar to any beginner or experience musican.

Comments about Epiphone Slash "AFD" Les Paul Performance Pack:

Great deal on a Les Paul....The tuner makes tuning easy...And it stays in tune..Play it hard, then play it soft,it stays in tune.Great for all styles, blues, rock, jazz, reggae, and country. The amp has some good sound...If you live in an apartment, you might want to turn it down or use headphones. The guitar has great sound...You can make this thing scream simply by playing a jazzed up concert scale. It doesnt have the neck or frets that the expensive model do,but it still a good guitar that you can make some noise with. The amp has great distortion and doesnt muddy uo the sound of the chords..If you play country music you can keep them on the dance floor with this guitar...The humbuckers are awesome for just 2 pick ups.

The acessories and bag are good quality too..

          Glad I bought this

Comments about Epiphone Slash "AFD" Les Paul Performance Pack:

Blemish description said light scratches but was actually only a big chip at top edge of headstock but a tiny bit of sanding and a drop of black paint and its now imperceptible (sort of). But 2 Benjamins with no tax or shipping for a 3 1/2 Benjamins priced bolt-on neck Epi LP Special II Mahogany body, YELLOW MAPLE FLAME TOP, with 15 Watt SS 8" speaker amp with Aux In for plugging in MP3/CD player), Slash logo unpadded gigbag, 'cheap' strings with extra 'cheap' set, Slash picks 'Performance Pack', so I cant really complain now, can I? Mods coming: 10" Ragin Cajun speaker if i can fit it in, otherwise 8" Ragin Cajun, bone nut, better POTS, oil fretboard, Grovers and I'm good! :-)

Comments about Epiphone Slash "AFD" Les Paul Performance Pack:

Just got back into the guitar after setting it down a couple years ago, and I am very satisfied with the quality of this combo for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play at home and not break the bank! Although the amp isn't exactly the GREATEST, it is a very nice for putting headphones in and playing quietly at home. If you are looking for that Les Paul feel at a good price, pick this up!

Btw, the guitar also looks VERY nice and much better than a lot of cheap-o guitars :)
