Comments about Fender American Standard Maple Fingerboard HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I love Strats, all of them every one. I am sure this one is just as wonderful as any other. I am happy to see a MIA version of a HH Stratocaster, but...

Wiring is less only providing a 3 way switch giving tones like any other 2 humbucker guitar. epic fail on the pick guard for the pickups enforcing the Fender mounting with 2 holes on the left side. These are probably 2 conductor pickups which is why the left off the other wiring options that could be available.

Now see the MIM Blacktop HH MN Stratocaster. The MIM HH BT has 4 conductor wire pickups, better Pickup switching with a 5-Position blade giving Position 1. Full bridge pickupPosition 2. Two inside coilsPosition 3. Full neck & bridge pickupsPosition 4. Outer neck single coilPosition 5. Full neck pickup. Also the MIM BT has a big swimming pool route under the pickguard. I put SD JAZZ in the neck and a Pearly Gates in the bridge giving Alnico 2 and 5 PAF tones maintaining the integrity of the innovative FMIC switch wiring which sounds awesome.

If you want an HH Stratocaster take a look at the MIM Blacktop HH Maple neck Stratocaster for a more feature rich tone environment. You can also buy a good tube amp with the money you'll save.

Please Fender use only block saddles. If you have humbuckers the use 4 conductor wire versions so they can be coil split. Stop using 2 holes on the left side of the HB mount. A series switch/button/push pull would be great on everything especially single coils.

Comments about Fender American Standard Maple Fingerboard HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I had been looking for the right Olympic White/Cream colored, maple fretboard American stratocaster for a long time now, I couldn't be more pleased with the uniqueness of this one!! It's NOT a traditional Strat at all, it is a different beast, with all the same feel and craftsmanship! Humbuckers are excellent :) big fan of this! Les Paul'ish tones, trapped in a fantastic strat!
