OVERVIEW

(Open Box) Great tonewoods, accessible body design and Fishman electronics make this a smart artistic choice.

This mid-sized orchestra shaped acoustic is equally suited for strumming and fingerpicking, and produces a sweet, balanced tone. The perfect choice for the versatile musician, the OM-140CE features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid African mahogany back and sides, and an elegant cutaway for access to higher frets. The hidden Fishman Sonitone pickup gives this guitar a perfectly amplified boost for gigs and live performances.

Other premium features include an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, NuBone nut and saddle, and mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1¾ nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and Guild' new lightweight polyfoam case.

Comments about Guild OM-140CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I recently purchased a Guild om-140ce acoustic electric and so far I have been very satisfied . I have always wanted a guild guitar and right out of the box I was satisfied with the sound and tone of this guitar . Although the battery placement for the Fishman pick up is somewhat unhandy I am generally very satisfied with this product . I even took it to a friend of mine who plays a Taylor guitar and he really liked it as well. I did have an issue with the bridge saddle . I noticed a few days after I played it there was a Burr underneath the G string . But I contacted musicians friend and guild and they sent me a new bridge saddle at no cost to me. Thank you very much musicians friend and guild guitars for your good quality and your timely service
