Overview

Classic Fender tones in an affordable beginner's guitar.

This limited-edition Squier Bullet Hardtail Stratocaster is designed by Fender from the inside out. Guitar Center recommends this lightweight model for first timers and students who want a genuine throwback guitar at an impressive value. The body is spec’d to match the iconic guitars that helped make the Strat famous, down to the hardtail bridge and 21-fret fingerboard. It’s easy to learn with, and a blast to play.

Squier Bullet Stratocaster Limited-Edition Hardtail Main Features

  • Lightweight poplar Strat with vintage-style hardtail bridge
  • Maple C-shape neck with Indian Laurel fingerboard and throwback 21-fret design
  • Three genuine, single-coil Strat pickups designed by Fender with 5-position switch
  • Available in a range of limited-edition gloss finishes

All the Makings of a Classic Strat

The bones of this Squier electric are Strat all the way. The body is made of poplar, a light-but-sturdy wood with lots of sustain. The classic one-ply white pickguard is timeless. The bridge is a hardtail with individual saddles. This configuration has been preserved over the years for its legendary stability and durability.

Maple Neck With Indian Laurel Fingerboard and Old-School Fret Layout

Finished in satin for better grip, the comfortable C-shaped neck is perfect for learning to play electric guitar. It’s made from 100% maple, long used by Fender for Strats and Teles. The fingerboard adds Indian Laurel tonewood to the mix, finished naturally to show off the attractive wood grain. The frets are kept to 21 for authenticity.

Genuine Strat Electronics Designed by Fender

At the core of any Strat is the trio of single-coil pickups. This Squier Bullet makes no compromises on that front. The genuine Fender-designed pickups are arranged in the classic SSS pattern. The 5-position switch is all about freedom. Flip between three settings to isolate each pickup, plus one to combine middle and bridge, and another for middle and neck. It’s perfect for developing an individual sound.

Limited-Edition Finishes for Starting in Style

The whole idea of the Squier Bullet Hardtail Stratocaster is to start new players with a comfortable, great-sounding, authentic electric. And to do that, the guitar can’t just sound good—it needs to look the part. These limited-edition models come in bold, stylish finishes that stand out, so you can play with pride.
