OVERVIEW

Cool blue satin finish with pearloid fingerboard and pickguard make this a unique starter instrument with style.

Recording King has been known for over 85 years as a choice for players that truly understand great value and don’t have to run with the pack. A perfect example is the Century33 Limited Edition #2 guitar.

In a nod to specific historical instruments of 1933, the Century33 #2 is unmistakable from the first glance. The pearloid fretboard and pickguard are showy while still keeping a sense of class, and the solid spruce top is supported by Recording King's Cross Lap Bracing for more projection and focused midrange. The Century33 #2 has the even frequency response across the tonal spectrum a 000 body is known for, all wrapped up in a look one can't find anywhere else.

killed a star because the frets were razor sharp. this would be a good deal for 2/3 the price, but I'm keeping it, it's not my Martin gp35, my main gigging guitar, but for some upcoming outdoor gigs, I'm going to abuse this guy..(also brutalize Yamaha 820, Epiphone humming bird pro and an eko ranger 6)

. it's put together nice, stays in tune, bone nut and saddle is cool, bridge could use some lemon oil, ....... we

Comments about Recording King Century33 Solid Top Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar at an 80% discount as a factory blemish. I have a Recording King Parlor Guitar that's fantastic. The ad said the blemish is a hole where the strap holder should be and drips on the front finish. Well, when I got the guitar, there were no drips on the finish and the hole was a easy fix. I just glued a 5/16th dowel in the hole, drilled a 1/16th pilot hole and installed a strap tip.
I was so surprised at the quality of sound from this guitar. This guitar sounds like it should cost so much more. Not only is it a very attractive guitar, the sound is amazing.
I teach lessons to the youth at my church and buy all the guitars for the church. I also buy guitars for the kids who parents can't afford to get 'em one, and I personally have several guitars. That's why I'm always looking for a good bargain. This is probably the best bargain I've ever found.
You won't be disappointed with this guitar. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent.
