Don't Forget

A modern design with classic looks.

The Bayonet's Railhammer Anvil bridge and Chisel neck pickups deliver thick, heavy tone with cutting clarity, but that's not all it can do. The versatile pickups and Bass Contour control make this a great all-around guitar for everything from clean to mean. The forearm bevel, satin finish and ebony fretboard offer a level of comfort, playability and style that can only be described as luxurious.

Railhammer pickups
Designed by Reverend founder Joe Naylor, Railhammers feature a unique rail/pole design that keeps the lows tight and the highs fat. They sound great clean, but for heavy distortion or low tunings, nothing compares to Railhammers.

Dual-action truss rod
This dual-action rod adjusts in both directions, allowing back bow or forward bow. This assures correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, extreme climate conditions, or the effects of long-term aging. It's also located at the headstock for easy access.

Korina body
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-lightweight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments rich in harmonics.

Graphite nut
Reverend use a graphite impregnated nut on all Reverend instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.

Bass contour
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips.

Pin-lock tuners
A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes.

Comments about Reverend Bayonet Electric Guitar:

So your thinking that this is a lot of cheddar to lay out for an overseas made guitar... and you are right, it is a lot - but, thankfully in the case of Reverend Guitars, it is totally worth it. Here's why: 1) A Reverend guitar is as well made as any guitar out there. Craftsmanship is exemplary. 2) They are very well designed both visually, technically & sonically - they feel & sound great and are an excellent choice to take on stage. 3) Because they are well designed, they are extremely versatile - I further modified mine with the RailHammer humbuckers to coil tap. Add in effective volume & tone controls, & the very useful bass contour knob and you can really cover a lot of sonic ground. 4) Every Reverend guitar is set up at their US facility by a dude named Zack, who apparently is an expert at his job, because my guitar was ready to play out of the box! (this setup point is very important - not all guitars are set up from the factory with this level of care & technical expertise - BTW, the reason I know this is he signs his name on the back of the headstock of each guitar that leaves their facility) 5) (this one is a bit subjective, but hey - it's my review) I just got back from NAMM 2015, where I played about 50 different electric guitars - I played about 3 that I really loved - but when I came back and played my Rev - None could beat it! (except that one out of the 3 was the new Reverend Sensei Jr. - I want one so bad!) 6) They are just sooo cool! Seriously, if you are in the market for a guitar for any playing style, you owe it to yourself to try out a Reverend. (sorry if I sound like a shill... I'm not. Just a really satisfied customer)
