Hellraiser Studio Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The Schecter Hellraiser Studio Acoustic-Electric Guitar is ready to inspire with its maple body and gorgeous finish. The inlays and binding also add a touch of elegance to this cutaway acoustic-electric. Its mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and abalone 'Gothic Crosses' position markers. This model is well-equipped with Grover tuners, a diamond bridge and a Fishman Presys pickup and preamp system.

Grover tuners
The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Rosewood fingerboard
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

Mahogany neck
The even density makes stable necks, and the open pores make the neck a little more responsive than a maple neck. The mahogany will absorb a little more of the string vibration than Maple will, and compresses the attack and the highs a little giving it a nice warm midrange.

Fishman E/Q Preamp
The Presys Onboard Preamp Systems are designed and built to offer maximum control, performance and quality in a small, unobtrusive format. The Presys + system features Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display. Also includes a pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup.
