Comments about Schecter Guitar Research KM-7 FR-S Electric Guitar:

this guitar sounds good, he neck is very smooth and easy to play, i gave 3 stars only because it
takes few hours to set the neck up the right way,
strings were too high and bad quality, they go out of tune whenever you use the tremolo, i had to install new strings at the end.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research KM-7 FR-S Electric Guitar:

Bought this during the stupid deal of the hour. Price was significantly reduced. Wouldn't have bought it otherwise only because I'm not a 7 string player, this isn't an indictment of the instrument itself. I love everything about this guitar except that it's a 7 string. It sounds good, feels really good but the width of the fret board and proximity of the strings are things you really must adjust your technique to and I simply don't play like that so it's something I'll only mess with occasionally which is why the price made it feasible. Didn't own any Schecters previously. Greatly impressed. Will seek out other models in the future.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research KM-7 FR-S Electric Guitar:

This guitar is great, the only reason i didn't give 5 starts is because it took me 3 hours to set up the neck and the strings,
the originals strings come with it are bad, they go out of tune every time you use the tremolo, also they were set so high in a way you cannot feel comfortable playing at all,
I changed the string with good quality ones, then had to lower and adjust the neck and the tremolo,
the guitar after played like a dream, i love it and recommend it.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research KM-7 FR-S Electric Guitar:

This Schecter km-7 fr-s 7 string with Sustainiac neck pickup system has a good tone. No changes are needed to the pickups.
The bridge should be 1/16" further to the bass side. Not that bad, I've seen several $3000 + guitars with poor alignment and pickups being installed off center. That said I bought it on sale. Had full price been paid I would of returned guitar.
Nice tone even un-plugged was easy choice to keep guitar. I've sold many guitars that were dimensionally perfect with all parts in there correct places that just did not sing.
This km-7 is a medium-heavy 9+ pounder. The neck is thinner than I prefer, but the guitar sounds better than many $3000+ guitars I've had. The finish is applied as well as the last 4 PRS guitars I've had.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research KM-7 FR-S Electric Guitar:

Guitar is one of the best 7 stings I've ever played only problem I had was it arrived with multiple paint defects and musicians friend has refused to send me a return label to exchange or return the item.
I'll never shop through this site again and I warn you not to do the same all other online companies would take such a product back with no issues.
Musicians friend is no friend to any musicians.
