Sweet

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

This is a sweet little guitar, I'm tellin' ya. This was my first electric and I've just loved it. The only downside is that it has fairly cheap strings but that's the overall low. It's a beautiful guitar.

Well Played

By BornToRock76

from Manhattan IL

When I got it I noticed it didn't look like the picture, it looked better! It also plays better than any guitar I've tried so far, the action on it is great. I found out that this was because of the Floyd Rose Tremolo. I play it through my Marshall amp, and the sustain is great too.Over all its a great guitar for beginners or veteran musicians.

An Obvious Best Buy

By J Mac-8-zSt

from Birmingham,AL

When I first looked at this guitar I thought its just another fender strat right? Well my friends talked me into buying so I did. A week later it showed up on my doorstep and I opened it. My jaw must have dropped a foot. This guitar looks and plays so awesome. That night I stayed up until four playing like a maniac. I highly recommend this guitar for beginners and experienced guitarists. So what are you waiting for? BUY IT NOW!

Worth it

No complaints. I had to make a few adjustments to the tremelo to get it straight, but other than that I love it! The tone is well worth the price!

Great Looks

I was over at my friends house the other day and he whipped out this guitar. I was amazed by everything on it. Then I played it and it was even better. This guitar has great looks and great sound. I played it on a blues amp, so it didn't have very good distortion, but I'm sure if you get it on the right amp it screams. It plays like butter and I especially liked how easy it was to push down the whammy bar, which I like, because I like to play a lot of Van Halen songs, Which have a ton of Dive bombs and other whammy bar menuevers. I was doing dives almost every note, Which probably isn't good for the guitar, but hey, it was fun. I would say to buy this guitar.

Got this axe a few weeks ago & also got a Mex. Strat deluxe player that I just sent back because of a gap & buzz problem, this asian axe is way better made than the mex. Strat at half the price, this thing looks beautiful & sounds great, this is a great deal.

Very pleased so far.

By IRG-QGAsb

from Ithaca, NY

I am very pleased with this guitar so far. It looks gorgeous - beautiful finish, definitely worth the extra money. I wasn't sure if I would like the neck being left natural, but I have quickly grown to like it alot, and it should only get better in time. I am not enough of an expert to say whether the pickups are great or just good, but they are not bad from what I hear. I compared this guitar to Fenders, some costing thousands (a local shop sells vintage guitars in the $5k - $25k range) and this one feels just as good, in some cases better. I haven't done any adjustments yet, but something minor may be done in the future - a few buzzing spots, but mostly minor, and could be more my fault than the guitar. Overall, I would heartily recommend this guitar, and was very pleased with your site.

Great strat!

By Captain Cool

This strat sounds like the real standard fenders. The quilt top isn't the best, but it still looks good. I let a guy I know play it, who is used to own a '58 strat and a '62 strat, he thought it had true fender tone. My teacher says that it plays like butter. A really satisifying guitar. Excellent value!!!!

Pictures don't do justice

By flamingstrat

The picture doesn't show of what a beauty the Strat is. Maybe a new pickup if you have a gig and/or new strings but overall, I love it. Definitely worth the money and is sent fast. But it!

It's ok, but there are issues...

By Jeff Dick-UxJmA

It's a beautiful guitar for the money, the finish is gorgeous, but the quilt top I got was low grade and not very quilty, and the tremolo doesn't stay in tune well(a notorious Strat problem), no matter how I adjust it. I replaced the single-coil pickups with some Dimarzio's, and now I get pretty much any sound I want out of it with no hum. It performs well at gigs, but if you want a light guitar that won't wear out your shoulder, then this one just isn't it, but the weight gives it a solid feel. Also, there is one buzzing fret on it, but I can play around that, and the neck does have a very fast action. Overall, a nice guitar, but be prepared to do some modifications.....

Amazing

I bought this guitar a few months ago as a project guitar, and I love it to this day. The picture doesn't do justice for how good the quilted maple finish looks. I really liked the sound of the guitar out-of-the-box, though I generally don't like single-coils. I ended up putting a WD tremolo stabilizer in and switched to a Dual-Humbucker setup instead of the S-S-S. Now it's my favorite guitar out of the 4 I own. The neck has excellent fretwork, and the strings are very close to the fretboard with no buzz. Almost perfect intonation. I might have to buy another!

Beautiful guitar

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

this guitar will definately turn heads. The quilted maple top is awesome and looks better then any other paint job i've seen on a strat. The only problem i see with this guitar is the pickups are horrible. I went to record with it and it didnt do well at all. But i believe this is a great first guitar. With new pickups i believe this guitar would be better than a regular standard strat.

Im part of a teenage garage band and I use this guitar alot and its perfect for people with some experiance.Im in love with the sounds and the action it gets without disortion(for country). And the sound with disortion can be a lil weak but overall this guitar was a pretty awesome guitar and its price is a good price.

Unbelievable value. This finish is nicer thanany other strat on the market, and the playability of the one I purchased from the dealer was amazing. Nice low action, ready to rock.

Get it!

This one of the best strats for the money I have ever seen and, its a Squier. Squiers are quite good they are for the most part close to the american fenders but made in Asia where labor costs are much cheaper. If you have a gig or show I recomend geting some better pick-ups. As I said earlier this a great guitar for the money.

What A Beauty

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I recently bought this guitar and I gotta tell you, this guitar is amazing even for the price. The sound quality isn't bad. I'm thinking about getting new Seymour Duncan California 50's pickups for it so I can get a better sound out of it. But other than that the guitar is just out of this world. I LOVE IT. And the color will grab everyones attention.

The Bomb!

By Ronnieb

from Goleta, CA

I bought this guitar for my brother for helping me remodel my condo (and to get back my Charvel/Jackson that he was learning on). After reading the reviews I decided this would be a good beginner guitar for my bro. Let me tell you, this guitar does not disappoint. The antique quilt top finish is a lot redder than in the picture (it almost looks like flames), but is very cool looking...the online picture does not do it justice! Also, it rocks right out of the box! I played it through a basic 10w & 15w Marshall Amp. I hate to admit it, but it sounds way better than my Charvel/Jackson, but my Epi Elitist Les Paul is still a big step above. The back side of the neck is a little more rounded than I'm used to, but within minutes it just felt right! Very easy to play. A solid rock'n guitar that I highly recommend for any beginner!
