It features a tonewood pairing of figured maple and sitka spruce—the spruce top blends stiffness and elasticity to produce a broad range with crisp articulation, while the maple back and sides deliver greater warmth and sustain. The result is a multi-dimensional sound that’s suited for a variety of genres and playstyles. The GT 611e also includes a hard rock maple neck in a 24-1/8” scale length, an Expression System 2 pickup design, behind-the-saddle pickup and Taylor Mini nickel tuners.
