I have this beautifully designed guitar in a cut-away (all they had at the time). I have never seen anything like it!! Each guitar made of this spalted maple is truly "one-of-a-kind"! Amazing! The front and back of my guitar is perfectly matched from side-to-side, like opening a book. The tone is deep, rich, bassy, clear and very even toned, as you strum a chord and let it ring out. I strum and finger-pick and this guitar is excellent for both. Wish the electronic were a bit bigger and marks/label for little knobs were easier to see. Also hard to see tuner if you have eyes over 40 and need reading glasses. So I either set everything before going on stage, or I have added a different color dot to denote Treb., Bass, Med. knobs and made the white line on the knobs bigger. Think I will mention this to Washburn. The electronics "sound" is just fine. Very pleased with the electrified sound , as well as the straight acoustic sound. The neck on my other guitars a a bit slimmer and although I thought this neck was just as slim to begin with, I now know there is a slight difference in the thickness of the neck. My hand is going to need some time to adjust to it. I'm a gal with a small hand so this will just take some time. Otherwise it is a unique and very beautiful looking and sounding instrument!! I waited a long time to buy this 2nd. very special Washburn . I am now the proud owner of 2 unique Washburns!! I will have them for the rest of my life! Thank you Washburn for your craftsmanship!!!

A very well crafted and beautiful guitar. Sounds great, ask my young nephew! The picture does it no justice. I bought mine in FEB and was shocked at the quality and beauty of the spalted maple. The back is gorgeous. Only drawback, MADE IN CHINA ! I found out before I bought, but excellant reviews made my choice easier, Washburn has good quality control. I'm not disappointed at all. The hardcase is of great quality.
