RE-210 Digital Piano

Featuring 88 weighted hammer keys, internal amp and speakers, and a cutting-edge sound engine originally developed for Kurzweil's TEC Award-winning PC2, the Kurzweil RE-210 Digital Piano delivers a triple-strike stereo grand piano sound that few can tell from the real thing. And that's only one of 37 sounds, including lush stereo strings, multi-strike classic electric pianos (both Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer), FM electric piano, harpsichord, brass sections, organs, pads, mallets, guitars, basses, drums, percussion, and voices (featuring Kurzweil's outstanding Take6 vocal samples).

3 dynamically programmed pedals are tailored to each onboard sound. All sounds except bass guitar can be layered for fuller, more luxurious tones. Volume-balanced layered sounds can be adjusted individually. Left split function divides the keyboard into 2 parts, each with its own instrument so one performer can sound like 2. It's also great for dynamic duets.

Room, stage, and hall reverbs plus chorus and flange impart vibrant textures. 2 song memories comprise 2 tracks each. The Kurzweil Console Piano records any layered and split sound combinations together into each track and even remembers real-time program changes. As a result, the recorder can actually record and play back up to 6 simultaneous parts.

16-channel multitimbral with MIDI I/O from which all 16 channels can be accessed independently. Supports MIDI exclusive dumps for backup and restore of song data and global settings.

Kurzweil installed a custom 60W power amp and 2-way speakers to deliver pristine, high-fidelity tone from the RE-210 Digital Piano.
