Comments about Kawai ES8 Digital Home Piano:

Have played one of these superb pianos , but reluctant to purchase one of these , due to the excessive
mark-up ( average is 60% ) and little or no price competition among dealers ..... Except for institutional
sales , private sales are few and far between .
Kawai needs to be more flexible as to the prices they allow the dealers to sell the ES8 for !

Comments about Kawai ES8 Digital Home Piano:

    Practice and Gigs
Mostly use the exquisite SK piano with the Bright 1 setting .... however , I seem to be having difficulty finding
a good sounding powered speaker monitor ( sounds very good playing the Demo but not so good when
playing the keys ) ..... perhaps I just need one of the more expensive 12 inch powered monitors !
The internal speakers sound wonderful !

Comments about Kawai ES8 Digital Home Piano:

I own a Yamaha acoustic grand and wanted something as close to the sound and feel of this instrument as possible that I could take with me as I travel. The Kawai ES 8 comes as close to this as I have encountered for under $2000. It also has bonus features that can't be found on an acoustic piano. The internal speakers are OK but I prefer to use powered monitors. The more I play it the better I like it. I considered a Yamaha digital piano but the Kawai polyphony at 256 vs.128 on most Yamaha's was the deal maker.
