The FANTOM-7's expandable sound engine provides Roland's best electronic and acoustic sounds with extensive control to combine and manipulate them. There are no compromises in sound quality, with a smooth, rapid workflow and no frustrating technical limits. You have access to a diverse range of sounds to suit any musical style.
Seamless Ableton Live Integration
With the latest firmware update, the FANTOM-7 now natively integrates with Ableton Live for a seamless production experience. You can view and launch clips in Live's Session view, control mixer, and transport functions and manipulate Macro Controls, Drum Racks and more using the FANTOM-7's responsive touchscreen, knobs, sliders and pads. This deep level of integration helps fuel your creativity by keeping you focused on making music.
Authentic Virtual Tonewheel Organ
The FANTOM-7 includes an authentic virtual tonewheel organ engine based on Roland's famous VK series. It emulates the sound and nuances of a real tonewheel organ with adjustable percussion, key click, leakage and rotary effect. The rotary effect provides variable speed, brake control and tube distortion for a lush, classic organ sound. The FANTOM-7's keyboard, sliders and knobs are automatically mapped for hands-on control of the organ engine.
Premium Keyboard and Generous I/O
The FANTOM-7 features a premium 76-note keyboard that is responsive, comfortable and designed for expressive performance. It also provides generous I/O options for connecting to external devices, including USB, MIDI, CV/GATE OUT, TRIG IN, and audio inputs and outputs.
