Red freakin' converse! What else needs to be said!? I'm a big fan of lowtop Chuck Taylor shoes and these are my current favorite. Comfortable for casual wear, though I would never consider wearing them for long hikes. I was impressed by the speed with which I received them from Musicians Friend and they had the best prices around. All in all, a very happy shopping experience with zero buyer's remorse.

I have worn these shoes since I was in 7 th grade in the sixties and the were ten small ones and now they are 6 x the price for the same shoe. That is what we call inflation. These shoes and simply for being seen in. You can go to Wal-mart and get a better fit and more supportive shoe for one-fifth of the price. So thesde shoes are for people who have more money than since. How did I get these shoes? Two years ago MF had a sale and I bought six pair for the price of one and a half. The PRos: These shoes will not disintergrat like the Avia or Ecco shoes. Definitely old school

I always wear converse, and it's just so easy to order them on Musician's Friend. Ordering online saves me the trip, and Musician's Friend has the lowest prices on these shoes that I have ever seen. It just doesn't make sense to go anywhere else.

It's nice to have some canvas tennis shoes again like when I was a kid. I hate these new clod-hopper styled leather tennis shoes. Too hot to wear as my feet just fry in them.
These are not built like the shoes of the 60's I grew up with, however if you add a cheap insert, I need arch support, they fit & feel great. Love the colors too!!
