I've converted my basement into a venue for local bands but i needed a light to shine on the audience that would cover half of the (semi-small) room. I chose this because the LED lights in the pro model are way stronger than the non-pro 64 par can. this light gives you complete control with a dmx board. (a good thing to have to truly appreciate all the features of this light) I didnt want to have to buy multiple par cans with gel filters just to point at the audience and get complaints about the heat they emit, so i chose the all-in-one light that can be used for multiple colors and effects and emits no heat and consumes little power. I am very pleased with this light and would recommend it to anyone. (i might even be picking up a second one when i get a chance) a bit pricey but well worth the money if you want a bright LED light that can save you from buying multiple par cans with gel filters, and keep a good portion of the stage illuminated.

I bought these to introduce myself to the world of dmx lighting and I have not ben disappointed. the pre-programmed features make things easy to start, and auto modes are very nifty once you figure out your DMX head controller. the lights mix colors well, and are extremely bright

I actually loved the light for the small gigs we do and when Restaurants put us in "dark" spot. I liked the random changing of lights as music played and static option for dinner hour. But I only used no more than once a week for 4-hr. gig. The two I bought burned out 1 month apart after approx. 2 yrs and I thought they should last longer. Admittedly, we did keep in the van at all times and not sure if joggled during transit.
