Tech-Free Zone
The P16-M's simple user interface makes it easy for even non-techies to dial-in the perfect monitor mix. For example, let's say the electric guitar is too loud in the lead vocalist's mix; they simply press the appropriate channel button (the one labeled E. GTR) and turn the Volume control to lower the guitar level in their mix. They can also adjust Pan (left to right mix), EQ (Bass, Mid with sweepable Freq control and Treble), and much more. All of these adjustments can be made without affecting anyone else's personal mix.
Easy Installation
A basic installation consists of one P16-I Input Module, which connects to the main mixing console, and up to six P16-M Personal Mixers, creating a system big enough to equip a typical recording studio, a small to medium-sized band, or a worship team. You'll also need a few standard audio and CAT5 cables. The optional P16- MB mounting bracket allows the P16-M Digital Personal Mixer to be attached to any standard microphone, music or drum stand. Before I purchased this piece of equipment I had a hard time finding reviews. So I wanted to make sure I wrote one once we set it up and used for a couple weeks. Why are people not trying this Behringer system? The price is a fraction of what you will pay for some of the others. We absolutely love the entire Behringer personal monitoring system. We purchased the entire system with 4 mixers. The sound quality is amazing and so easy to hook up. I challenge more people to give this a try and SAVE yourself a lot of money! You won't be sorry!
Lots of features on this personal mixer. EQ, saving individual mixes for your taste, adjusting volume for each individual track etc. Its amazing what this thing can do.
The knobs could be a little more sturdy. Not bad, but if you travel with a band you would need to be careful in the moving process. I'm at a church and we will not be moving our equipment so it's not an issue with us.
Love this little mixer and it serves us well! I would hate to go without it now.

This is an amazing system. I just brought 8 units for a church and everyone loves it. This sounds way better then the Aviom and lot cheaper.The install was very easy. Just make sure you have some good headphones and also make sure you have direct outs on your mixer. I have nothing bad to say about this product so far.

I use the stereo outputs of the p-16 to 2 active floor wedges.In ear has been unrealistic for my band. Behringer P16 is doing a great job for individual mixes with small stage monitors .The way we use it is ,if you cant here someone you touch him up in your own floor wedge .This way we dont have to hook up a bunch mics on the drums .this works for us ,might not for You .

This fixes the biggest hassle live performance bands have: "I can't hear what I need to hear!"
Thanks to Behringer for making a more affordable version of the Aviom system I've been coveting for years.
I don't understand the need for an AC adapter on this mixer, because the CAT-5e cable carries power on its own.
Very easy to use, very easy to set up. If you need longer cable, standard Cat-5e works great.

We bought 4 of these units, along with the P16-I (without which I don't think they will function) for our band. We had been using floor monitors and hotspots for many years and wanted to upgrade to in-ear monitors. The sound is very natural and the controls straight forward. It takes time to get all the functions down but once you do it's easy to program your own personal mix.

Our church bought several of these to use with our Behringer digital soundboard. It is a pretty economical and reliable option for getting into personal monitors, and these let us clear most of the floor wedges off our stage and reduce stage volume considerably. The main downside is that it only gives 16 control channels from a 32 channel board, so there is some limited mixing capability for individual voices/instruments. That being said, it's still far better than having to interrupt rehearsal to request a change in each person's monitor mix. Good investment overall.

We just got the X32 system at church. We have always been careful about stage volume and has been reduced a great deal. The church purchased two of the P16M's and I immediately went to MF to order my own.The first unit had no output and MF made the exchange very easy.

This is the Behringer version of the popular Aviom monitoring system. IMO its better because of the cost and features like eq and limiter. The sound is true to the sound source and you don't even need power. Just plug up the ethernet cable and it fires right on. Had it for about a month and so far so great!
