I run live sound for circle jams and will normally have 4-6 mic's setup. Lately i've found a need for more (and it's never a bad idea to have spares around). I had to mic a piano and the player at one of the jams, they did a wonderful job. I had to change the eq just a bit (but that can be a matter of taste) . The pattern on the mic is so that as the player (Who is not used to using a mic) didn't need to eat it for me to pick her up.
The stands are great for the price and work as they should.
All in all they are a great bundle for starting out or extras especially for live sound, and you can't beat the price.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
I really only needed one extra mic and stand, but this set of three was such a good buy I got it. The cords are pretty light gauge, but they seem to work fine. These mic's are definately not Shure SM58 quality, but they are surprisingly pretty good, and they make plenty of signal so the board guy has something to work with. The stands are lightweight and hold the adjustments fine.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
Package deal of 3 mics, stands, and cords looked too good to be true. Good reviews encouraged me to give this bundle a try. I do not believe you can beat the quality for the price and the quality seems as good or better than any near the price range. Compared to my Sures, the mics are a little different but appear to be quite close. Those little stickers that show where they are made peal right off. Buy a couple and you'll see.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
As I stated in my header, the actual microphone stand is of excellent quality and appears built to last. The microphone cable is basic, I recommend taping the end to keep the joint between the metal and rubber from twisting and causing a short. Microphones are excellent for the price and come with a holder attachment for the stand. Not for the lead singer, but fine for harmonies for everybody else. When on sale for half off, the value is outstanding!

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
I purchased this package because I needed 3 mics and stands for our practice studio and these fit the bill. The Mic Kit was bought on-sale at an incredible value and the equipment will last a long time. As with any other gear, when properly taken care of it will give you years of service. The Mic's and stands are very durable and the cables and mic clips were an added bonus that makes for a complete up and running kit. Musicians Friend was extremely helpful and kept me in touch every step of the way. That service has a great value to me and I highly recommend this company.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
I have a rehearsal studio where the clients abuse everything, which is why I don't buy expensive equipment. This purchase was for backup stock. The original equipment is still being used. Only one casualty because someone was playing "drop the mic" and the mic didn't survive. The mic stands are great. The boom stands don't hold after a few months and must be taped or replaced. I'm not crazy about the boom stands.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
Great price for 3 mics 3 chords and 3 stands. Would have gave 5 stars but The chords are a little cheesy and cheaply made but the mics and stands make up for the difference. Free shipping no tax!

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
Not sure how they managed to put this bundle together for (somehow Musician's Friend thinks a certain monetary symbol is profanity, so I can't tell you the price), but it's certainly a steal at that price. Not top end by any means, but quite serviceable for a lot of live sound applications. I have seen two-packs of the same products on sale for more than this three pack. Perfect for mic'ing the sound effects for Merry Christmas George Bailey (aka the radio version of It's a Wonderful Life).

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
The cables and stands and mic clips are top notch.
The mics are built well but a bit noisy. Not on off switch
Is kinda annoying. But for living drums probably perfect.
It's a great deal just for the stuff you get minus the mics.

Comments about Gear One MV1000 with Cable and Stand 3 Pack:
This is not a Shure mike package, but it is very decent quality to use as a replace/backup unit. I've only used these once, but they served the purpose for what we do. This proves you don't have to spend a small fortune on mikes, etc. Unless you are a pro that think you have to have a 'super' system, try these. You'll be a bit amazed by their performance.
