Canny sounding speakers... not the "Kustom Sound" standard by far.
Poor sounding built in effects and bass is flat. Back in the 70's when they replaced separate bass and treble adjustment with just tone knobs on the cheaper units, it was still a much better sound. Do not expect the same range or mix. IMOH... This reminds me of when Sony had a few bad years at selling junk turnkey audio systems.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
I own this system and have used it often. I have used for small coffee house/bar/grill gigs with my acoustic electric guitar, microphone, and drum machine all through the system.
I have done DJ gigs for muliple weddings and parties.
Great for business meetings.
Back yard parties too.
I have the optional carry case on wheels with handle. Very handy. I also have the optional speaker stands which get the vibs where they need to be.
For DJ use I sometimes use my Kustom powered subwoofer to get a little "thump" for dancing.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
I bought this unit specifically for use as t.v. system. I used a 3.5 to 1/4" cord to connect the headphone out from the t.v., to the input on the p.a.. That way I can control the volume with the t.v. remote. The sound is clear and crisp but you won't get a lot of rumble like you would from a 12" or 15". For the price, you can't beat it.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
Just used my new Kustom Profile 200 for a worship service with a guitar, base and keyboard playing through some pretty cranked up amps. Plus the hall we were in was big, had over 200 people with room for another 150. Wow!! Had the PA at about half way up on volume and our vocals rocked the place. Blending the effect was easy and sounded like we were running through a big $$$, set up system. So easy to set up and easy to come and go. I made a great buy.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
My friends bought this same system over 2 years ago and we have used it numerous times when we played together. It is big enough to handle a fair-sized crowd and yet compact and easy to move around when we play at smaller venues like nursing homes. I am using it for our church band and it is perfect for us as we are renting the building and have to bring our equipment with us every week.

This PA is an upgrade for my band. The first time we used it, we had many compliments on how crisp and clear our vocals sounded. Another plus is the compact size of the speakers. And someone was smart by adding the built in carrying handles.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
This is a great small system for a solo artist or duo. I teach high school and I am sponsor of a guitar club, and I bought this to use for the "open mic" part of meeting. It works great and fills a fairly large room with lots of distortion-free sound. Plenty of bass, which surpised me. I'm also going to use at my personal system for small venues.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
I'm happy with the sound for vocals, I run my acoustic guitar through a pre-amp and that really helps. Without it I was much less pleased with the sound. I used it in a small theater that holds 100 people and had the volume less than 1/2 way up. This is my second Kustom product; I still use the combo amp for small groups.

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
TL;DR I bought the PA 3 years ago for less than it is now. It's great for small-medium venues like parking lot or house parties. Live sound is great. Sound from an iPod or Laptop is thin. Easy to use.
I bought this PA system 3 years ago to use at a weekly gig a friend and I were playing at a restaurant. Two guitars and two mics. When playing live sound, the sound is very balanced and easy to use. After that, it sat in a basement for two years unused while I was abroad. When I got back, I plugged it in and it would occasionally crackle, whether there was music playing or not. I took the head apart and dusted the inside and it works as good as new again. I only have two complaints with this PA system. The first is petty: They used comic sans as the font on the mixer face. That's just unprofessional. Second: When playing music from a source like a laptop or an iPod through the RCA input, the sound can be a bit tinny. Even after mixing the EQ settings, getting a solid bass sound can be difficult if not impossible.
Pros
- Lightweight
Cons
- Breaks Easily
- Poor Sound Quality
- Pricey / Poor Value
- Unreliable
Best Uses

Comments about Kustom PA Profile 200 Portable PA System:
Worst money I ever spent in my life.... thing looks great in the picture, what you actually get is an overrated ghetto blaster. Didn't even last six months, before just completely crapping out on me. Should have sent it back the day I got it, instead of getting completely ripped off.
