The up side: It will boost the usable output of your PA or monitors substantially. The down side: it is a bit noisy, eats a lot of signal, and worst of all, it only goes up to 6 kHz, which means having to cut the 8k and 16k bands on the PA to eliminate the high squeal.
This processor does exactly what it says. I use it to pull out problem frequencies from my onstage monitor mixes. I have two and wish I had one more for a third aux send. I use them in conjuction with graphic e.q.s. This processor requires that you find the offensive frequency and then will allow you to cut it out. This thing is basically a cut-only 4 band parametric e.q. If that is what you are looking for, it will meet your needs.My only complaint is that I wish the frequency range had a wider expanse.
