Let creativity rule with the advanced DSP functionality in this powerful tabletop DJ mixer.

The 5000FX is Numark's 5-channel mixer with sampling, scratching, and effects. The 5000FX is equipped with a scratch/effect/pitch wheel and memory buffer so you can scratch live audio as well as loops and samples. Get creative with 30 seconds of high-quality sampling with pitch adjustment and digital effects like echo, chop, delay, isolate/kill/vocal kill, sonar, filter, key change, vocoder, and distortion.

The Numark 5000FX DJ Mixer also features Beatkeeper technology that automatically syncs loops and tracks the beats of 2 songs to tell you how to adjust the mix for perfect beat alignment. Create a perfect loop with the Beatkeeper by tapping the loop button close to where you want the loop to occur--the processor does the rest to make a perfect loop every time.

Additional features on the Numark DJ mixer include dual BPM meters, fader start, and a replaceable crossfader with adjustable slope. 3 phono, 9 line (3 switchable to phono), and 2 mic inputs--including a top-mounted Neutrik jack. Good Mixer Good Price

By CreepyTom

I Got this Mixer Recently. The only problem I've had with it is a little static on the L-R Pot. The FX is great, and the bpm counters are almost always accurate (though they occasionally get "confused" and need to be reset). This is a freaking awesome mixer for the price. Good for beginner to intermediate DJ's.

A Very Versatile Machine

This is a great mixer to use as a recording tool, especially because of the sampling and looping capabilities and other effects if one wishes to use them. I am not a DJ nor a professional musician, and probably the most unlikely person to purchase such a machine. My styles of music consist of classical, adult standards, and some light rock. There is a lot too this piece of gear to learn and I have to do it a little slower than most, since I am totally blind and in my late fifties. However, since I got it for Christmas, I did learn to sample and loop and put a recorded phrase into a recording I am making as part of a project. It was very easy and the sampling is high-quality, as is the rest of the unit. I would recommend the Numark 5000FX to anyone who is a recording hobbyist, since it is more than an ordinary mixer. It does what I want it to do and then some. I am quite happy with it.

I own this mixer not bad for the money. but your stuck with these effects you better learn to like them. the clearity of the channels is great. plus it has 5 channels. the sampler is very good and bpm counter comes in hand. spot on product. great value with rebates and free gift.

On the Money

Great pro-quality mixer that has everything you need and sounds great. Special effects are cool and so is the "swish" button for when you DJ a school dance and need to bleep out a curse word or 2. I think the mic volume control should be rotary rather than slide, but no biggie. Compare this side-by-side to a Pioneer DJM 600 for twice the price and you'll buy the Numark...guaranteed!

numark= good product for the money

By Pdrunk

I have been usin the mixer a little over a year and it had done me a lot of good except...I have had to replace the crossfader once already which wasnt that bad of a process and the crossfaders only about 50 bucks. Overall good quality mixer, has enought inputs and outputs to hook up to just about everything. But the feature but I like the most is the reverse switch that gives your records the same reverse as on the cdj's. Overall I say if you want quality but don't have the money for pioneer this is the way to go.

Numark... I Thank you!

If you are looking for that one mixer that will take you to the next level without breaking the bank, look no further. The Numark 5000FX is the "Bad Boy" you been looking for; or as i affectionately call ma "Bad little Girl". As a intermediate/advanced but not quite Pro DJ of 7 years I would have to say if you want a better mixer then look at spending twice the money. In fact this mixer even rivals some $1000+ mixers. Now you will find in the higher end mixers that the dB kills and faders are a bit smoother with a greater range but seriously the overall performance of this mixer is nothing short of excellent. No I don't work for Numark but I would be proud to. They continually put out the goods at a fair price. Oh yeah, real quick... I must say the smart FX, looping, and sampling mean you don't have to be. In other words there designed for ease of use so that during performance you can create on the fly with out burning through half a track trying to sync a loop, perfect an FX sound or re-record sample after sample just to get it right. Straight out of the box I was able to rip it up with out reading a wordy manual. I have had the Numark 5000FX for almost a year and will definitely take several more before I out grow it. Note: to predominantly Battle DJs> I do scratch some and while all the effects will make you set more versatile and interesting the cross fader is not easy to replace and it does not bounce as well as those $1000 mixers when pulling the "crab" for example. As a "house/trance/DB" dj I don't see having to replace anything for several years even with a fair amount of scratching.
