Only problem with this unit: it is so small, I forget where I left it!
The software makes Itunes look like brain surgery! It couldn't be easier!
After my Rio player failed I was in need of a replacement. I was reluctant to go to an IPOD because:
It was user unfriendly, I Tunes software needs to be simplified, my daughter's Ipod always crashes, and all I needed to do was put my CD collection into a compact device. (also: $$$$$$$$$$$$) This player and software make it so easy, I was able to install my entire collection within a couple of hours while watching TV.
We just took a road trip to the Rock & Roll hall of fame (Milwaukee to Cleveland), plugged it into my car stereo, used the shuffle setting & enjoyed the entire trip BOTH WAYS! on a single charge!
No problems at all!

If I paid full price instead of the stupid deal of the day price, I would be disappointed. However, it is a descent mp3 player. It offers just about the same features and performance as my clip+, plus a touchscreen (the opposite of sensitive...not for fat fingers too). Hopefully it will last longer than the clip. Some weird, glitchy behavior, but is mostly resolved after I updated the fireware. Software with it sucks so bad! Got rid of all my AAC files after player wouldn't play them.

It's a fairly simple, basic 4 gig MP3 player with decent sound quality that does exactly what it says it does. It would be cool to enhance the search features a little to be able to jump to a song or an artist faster but for the price this player is a win.
This RCA (Lyra) MP3 player utilizes a touch screen and has all the basic features that my previous Sony Walkman MP3 player had at a significantly reduced price. There are a few preset EQ settings that are good. I set mine with the "Bass" setting which boosts the bottom end effectively without making the music muddy. Sometimes the touch screen doesn't read what I'm trying to press right away but for the price it's not a big deal.
It's a little plastic MP3 player. It seems solid enough but I've only had it for a couple of weeks now. The sound quality is on par with my previous Sony. The battery lasts about the same also.
I originally bought this 4 gig MP3 player as a Stupid Deal of the Day temporary replacement until I could save up for another 8 or 16 gig MP3 player. I paid a quarter of what I paid for my 8 gig Sony Walkman a few years ago. Once I filled it up with the cream of the crop of my favorite songs, excluding any filler, I found that although I still would like more gigs, 4 is enough for now until this player either dies or I receive another one as a gift.

I got it as a deal of the day, and not bad for that. However, If I paid full price with the lack of directions, i'd be ticked.
Decent mp3 player with plenty o options for the money, but directions for dealing with itunes is non-existant both in the included directions and online. Shape up RCA!
Giving this a 7 for lacking directions only. Easy to use player otherwise.
